We want to thank our community for staying home during this time. We all know that the best way to overcome this is if everybody stays in their home and helps flatten the curve.
So while you are in your house, I think it's a great idea if you were to give your insurance company a call and see what kind of coverage you have. Just double check and make sure that you are protected, and make sure that you have uninsured motorist coverage under your insured motorist coverage and personal injury protection.
The reason that I'm suggesting that is because we have a lot of clients come in and think that they have this extra protection. But once we dig deeper into the case, it turns out that they don't.
So while everybody is at home and has downtime, go ahead and give your insurance company a call and make sure that you are protected on the roads.
The second thing that I wanted to mention is that if you do leave your home, we ask that you please be aware of your surroundings.
Don't rely so much on traffic laws and traffic signals such as stoplights and stop signs.
If you come to an intersection, go ahead and pause a little bit more than you normally do.
Also, once this quarantine is lifted, and everybody is going to be eager to get out of their homes and get back to their social lives, traffic might be a little more hectic than usual.
So when that time comes, please just be more cautious on the road.
Lastly, we want to thank all of the healthcare workers, grocery store workers, truck drivers, and anybody else whose job puts their health at risk.
And of course, thank you to our community for staying home as much as possible.
If at any point you have any questions or concerns, whether it is coronavirus related, or personal injury related, please give us a call. We are available 24/7.
